ISSMA J/M/E Organizational Contest
March 10 and 11, 2023
What is ISSMA J/M/E?
ISSMA (Indiana State School Music Association) is one of the organizations that the TC Music Department is a part of. They support all school music programs throughout the state and host many of the contests that we go to.
J/M/E (Jr. High, Middle School, Elementary) Organizational Contest is for 5-8 grade bands, choirs, and orchestras. Each participating ensemble performs three pieces of music for three judges and earns a rating based on their performance.
We will have one venue for this event this year: The HS Auditorium
We will be hosting bands, choirs, and orchestras from surrounding counties throughout central and eastern Indiana.

We have many, many roles that we need lots of adults to help with. Here is just a partial list of what we will be needing help with:
High School Sign in (check in and paperwork for schools)
High School Contest Headquarters (2-4 people for full-day shifts)
High School Concessions (2 people 2-4 hour time slots)
High School Hospitality (directors/drivers and judges)
High School Homeroom monitors
High School Auditorium door monitors
High School Auditorium Stage Crew
High School Auditorium Sound Engineer
High School Clean up crew
Parking Attendants and building flow
